Cappadocia is a region which has historical and touristic importance in Turkey. During the production of volcanic tuff quarries in this region (both during cutting and processing in the factory), large amounts of tuff are released to the environment as waste. These tuff wastes cause economic losses and environmental pollution.
It is understood that composite materials produced using volcanic tuff and marble dusts through the experimentation of deformation, weight per unit of volume, water absorption, uniaxial compression strength and modulus of elasticity, point load strength index can be used in the building sector. It is observed that as the ratio of volcanic tuff dust in the mixture increases, the water absorption ratio of the material increases, and uniaxial compression strength and point load strength decreases. The produced composite samples were kept predetermined number of times day and there was no deformation in the surface characteristics of the materials. For statistical parameter analysis, averages, variances, standard deviations, coefficients of variation and skewness coefficients were calculated. In addition, covariance changes between experimental parameters were determined.
